What Is a Insulator Tie?
A construction bracket is a structural steel fitting bolted to a wood or concrete utility pole. It carries cables, conduits, transformers, accessories or service drops away from the pole face, providing clearance for maintenance crews and preventing mechanical damage to the conductor or cable jacket. Types of Insulator Ties
Cable & Service-Drop Brackets
The cable extension bracket and drop-wire mast bracket extend a service drop or secondary cable away from the pole. The neutral wire bracket holds the neutral conductor on a secondary distribution circuit. All are forged or formed from Q235 carbon steel and finished to ASTM A153 / ISO 1461.
Equipment-Mounting Brackets
The pole transformer bracket carries pole-mounted distribution transformers up to ANSI weight ratings. The conduit standoff bracket secures riser conduits, while the secondary rack extension bracket extends a multi-circuit secondary rack away from the pole face. Standard or custom drilling on request.
Crossarm & Universal Brackets
The crossarm mounting bracket and tangent messenger bracket provide secondary attachment points on existing crossarms. The universal pole bracket is a multi-purpose adjustable mount that fits a wide range of pole diameters — ideal where field-installation flexibility is required.
Standards & Certifications
Raxsteel construction brackets are manufactured to ANSI C135, IEC 61952 and GB/T 2314 standards. Hot-dip galvanizing meets ASTM A153 / ISO 1461 with 80−100µm zinc thickness. Each batch is dimensionally inspected and load-tested before galvanizing; SGS / BV third-party reports are available on request.
